These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Ticket Cricket, including the Ticket Cricket Discord bot, any custom bot run through Ticket Cricket, the dashboard and website at ticketcricket.bot, and related services (together, the "Service"). The Service is provided by Ticket Cricket, operated from Rhode Island, United States ("Ticket Cricket," "we," "us," or "our").
By adding Ticket Cricket to a Discord server, signing in to the dashboard, purchasing a plan, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of a Discord server, community, or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
1. The Service
Ticket Cricket is a support-ticket system for Discord. It lets server administrators create ticket panels and forms, route tickets to staff, save transcripts, and manage these features through a web dashboard. Some features are available only on paid plans, as described on our Premium page.
2. Eligibility
You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement and be permitted to use Discord under its terms and the laws that apply to you.
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian, to purchase a paid plan.
3. Discord
The Service runs on Discord and depends on it. Your use of Discord is governed by Discord's own Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and policies, and you must follow them when using Ticket Cricket. Ticket Cricket is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc.
Changes made by Discord, outages of Discord, or actions Discord takes against a server or account may affect the Service. We are not responsible for them.
4. Server Administrators and Accounts
You sign in to the dashboard with your Discord account. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
Server owners and administrators decide how Ticket Cricket is configured in their server, including who is treated as staff, which features are enabled, where transcripts are sent, and which integrations are used. Administrators are responsible for those choices and for granting dashboard or staff access only to people they trust.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Break any law or regulation, or encourage others to do so
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or harm any person
- Send spam or unsolicited messages
- Collect or store personal information without a lawful basis
- Distribute malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system
- Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service or the infrastructure it runs on
- Reverse engineer, resell, or sublicense the Service, except as these Terms allow
- Use the Service in violation of Discord's terms or policies
- Impersonate Ticket Cricket, Discord, or any other person or organization
You should not submit passwords, payment card details, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive information through tickets.
6. Plans, Billing, and Automatic Renewal
The Service offers a Free plan and paid plans (currently Premium and All Access). The features, limits, and prices of each plan are shown on our Premium page and at checkout.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing a plan, you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method for the plan you select.
Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly, as you choose) at the then-current price, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page of the dashboard or through the Stripe customer portal.
Each paid plan covers a set number of Discord servers ("server slots"). Premium covers one server per slot. All Access covers a bundle of servers, with additional servers available as add-ons. You assign servers to your plan from the Billing page.
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase.
7. Cancellation and Refunds
When you cancel a paid plan, no further charges are made, and your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. After that, your servers return to the Free plan.
All payments are final and non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, unused server slots, and unused features, except where a refund is required by law. We may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund or credit in individual cases; doing so does not create an obligation to do so again.
When a server returns to the Free plan, its data is kept, but features and limits beyond the Free plan are disabled. For example, ticket panels beyond the Free limit are disabled rather than deleted, and become available again if the server is upgraded.
If a payment fails, we may suspend paid features until the payment is completed.
8. Price Changes
We may change our prices. For existing paid subscriptions, we will give at least 30 days' notice before a new price applies, through a dashboard notification or another reasonable method. The new price takes effect from your first renewal after the notice period. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel before it takes effect.
9. Custom Bots (All Access)
All Access lets you connect your own Discord application so that the Service runs under your bot's name and avatar.
You remain the owner of that application and are responsible for it under Discord's terms, including keeping it compliant with Discord's policies. By connecting it, you authorize us to use its token to operate the Service on your behalf. We store the token in encrypted form and use it only for that purpose.
If your All Access plan ends, your custom bot stops running through Ticket Cricket and your servers return to the main Ticket Cricket bot.
10. Affiliate Program
We may offer an affiliate or referral program in the future. If we do, it will be subject to separate terms that we publish at that time.
11. Your Content
"Your content" means the material you or members of your server submit through the Service, such as ticket messages, form answers, transcripts, panel text, tags, knowledge base articles, and templates.
You and your members keep ownership of your content. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, copy, process, and display your content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
You are responsible for your content and confirm that you have the rights needed to submit it.
Knowledge base: articles you publish are made available publicly on the internet.
Template gallery: when you share a panel or form to the gallery, you grant us and other Ticket Cricket users a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, and adapt that template. Shared templates do not include your channels, staff, or server data.
We may remove content that violates these Terms or the law.
12. Third-Party Services and Integrations
The Service relies on third-party services, including Discord and Stripe. Server administrators may also enable integrations that send information to services they choose. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
13. Data and Privacy
How we collect and use information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Server data, including settings and transcripts, is kept while a server uses Ticket Cricket and after the bot is removed, so that it can be restored if the bot is invited back. It is deleted when a server administrator or the relevant user asks us to delete it, subject to the exceptions in the Privacy Policy.
14. Availability and Changes to the Service
We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available and to respond to support requests, but we do not guarantee any level of uptime, availability, or support response time, and we do not provide service credits for downtime.
We may change, add, or remove features of the Service, including features and limits of the Free plan, at any time. If we remove a feature that is part of a paid plan you have already paid for, we will give reasonable notice, and you may cancel if you do not agree to the change.
15. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your servers and canceling any paid plan.
We may suspend or terminate your access, remove the bot from a server, or end a subscription, without notice and without refund, if we reasonably believe that you or a server you manage has violated these Terms or Discord's policies, used the Service unlawfully, or created a risk of harm to us, other users, or the Service.
Sections that by their nature should continue after termination, including those on payments already made, your content license for shared templates, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law, will continue to apply.
16. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that data, transcripts, or messages will never be lost.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ticket Cricket will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or community members, arising from or related to the Service, even if we have been told such damages are possible.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars ($50).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
18. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ticket Cricket and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your content, your use of the Service, your custom bot, or your violation of these Terms or any law.
19. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Rhode Island, and you and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Either party may instead bring an eligible claim in small claims court.
Before bringing a claim, please contact us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify dashboard users. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
21. General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours in connection with a sale or reorganization of the Service.
