Ticket Cricket ("Ticket Cricket," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to handling information responsibly.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Ticket Cricket may collect when you interact with the Ticket Cricket Discord bot, dashboard, website, or related services, how that information is used, and the choices available to you.

By using Ticket Cricket, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Ticket Cricket only collects or processes information reasonably necessary to provide and maintain the service.

When Ticket Cricket is added to or used within a Discord server, we may receive information from Discord including:

Server administrators are responsible for determining how Ticket Cricket is configured within their Discord server.

Feedback and Exit Surveys

If a server enables exit surveys, users may be asked to rate their support experience or answer questions after a ticket closes. Ratings and answers are stored with the ticket and shown to that server's staff.

Staff Activity

To help servers manage their teams, Ticket Cricket records certain staff actions, such as changes to settings, panels, or staff teams made through the dashboard (an audit log), along with dashboard notifications sent to staff.

Payment and Subscription Information

Payments for paid plans are processed by Stripe. Ticket Cricket does not receive or store your full payment card number.

We store information about your subscription, such as your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, the plan you purchased, its status and renewal date, and which Discord servers the plan is assigned to. Stripe processes your payment details, billing name, email address, and billing address under its own privacy policy.

Custom Bots

If you connect your own Discord bot on the All Access plan, we store its bot token in encrypted form, along with its name, avatar, and status settings. The token is used only to run Ticket Cricket through your bot.

Knowledge Base and Template Gallery

Knowledge base articles that a server publishes are publicly visible on the internet. Panels or forms shared to the template gallery are visible to other Ticket Cricket users, together with the Discord username of the person who shared them.

2. Server Configuration Data

Ticket Cricket may store configuration information necessary to provide customized functionality to individual Discord servers.

Ticket Cricket does not receive or store your Discord password.

5. Ticket Transcripts

Discord server administrators may choose to enable ticket transcripts or ticket archives.

A transcript may contain messages, usernames, user IDs, timestamps, attachments, links, and other information voluntarily submitted by participants within a ticket.

Server owners and administrators are responsible for deciding whether ticket transcripts are enabled and who is permitted to access them.

Users should avoid submitting passwords, financial information, government identification numbers, authentication tokens, or other highly sensitive information through a Ticket Cricket ticket.

6. Data Retention

Ticket Cricket retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or provide functionality requested by Discord server administrators.

Different types of information may have different retention periods.

Temporary cached Discord information may be refreshed or removed automatically.

Server configuration information and ticket transcripts are retained while a Discord server uses Ticket Cricket.

When Ticket Cricket is removed from a Discord server, that server's configuration and transcripts are kept so they can be restored if Ticket Cricket is invited back. They are deleted when a server administrator or the relevant user submits a valid deletion request, unless retention is necessary for security, legal, or abuse-prevention purposes.

Subscription and payment records may be kept for as long as needed for accounting, tax, and legal purposes, even after a deletion request.

7. Third-Party Services

Ticket Cricket relies on Discord to provide its core functionality.

When using Ticket Cricket, information may therefore be processed through Discord in accordance with Discord's own terms and privacy policies.

These providers may process limited information as necessary to provide their services to Ticket Cricket. If we add providers for other purposes, such as error monitoring or analytics, we will update this policy.

Where Information Is Stored

Ticket Cricket's servers and database are located in Canada. Discord, Stripe, and Cloudflare may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. By using Ticket Cricket, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in these countries.

Ticket Cricket does not authorize service providers to sell information obtained through Ticket Cricket for their own advertising purposes.

8. Third-Party Integrations

Ticket Cricket may support integrations with third-party services.

If a Discord server administrator enables one of these integrations, certain information may be transmitted to that service when necessary for the integration to function.

The information transmitted will depend on the integration and may include a Discord user ID, server ID, ticket information, or other information required by that service.

Third-party services operate under their own privacy policies and terms.

Ticket Cricket is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services independently selected or configured by Discord server administrators.

9. Server Administrators

Ticket Cricket provides tools that Discord server owners and administrators may configure.

10. Cookies and Website Data

If you use a Ticket Cricket website or dashboard, limited technical information may be processed to operate the website securely.

Ticket Cricket uses only cookies that are necessary for the website to work: a session cookie that keeps you signed in to the dashboard, and security cookies that Cloudflare may set to protect the website from abuse. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Ticket Cricket does not use this information to sell targeted advertising profiles.

11. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed by Ticket Cricket.

However, no online service, database, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users and Discord server administrators should therefore avoid storing unnecessary sensitive information within tickets.

12. Your Information and Deletion Requests

You may request information regarding data associated with your Discord account or request deletion of eligible information maintained directly by Ticket Cricket.

Because Discord usernames can change and may not uniquely establish identity, we may require verification through your Discord account before processing a request.

13. Children

Ticket Cricket is intended to be used in accordance with Discord's age requirements.

We do not knowingly design Ticket Cricket for children who are not permitted to use Discord under Discord's applicable terms or local law.

If we become aware that information was collected from a person who was not legally permitted to use the service, appropriate action may be taken to remove that information.

Ticket Cricket may update this Privacy Policy as the service develops or as legal, technical, or operational requirements change.

When significant changes are made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy will be revised.

Continued use of Ticket Cricket after an updated policy becomes effective constitutes acknowledgement of the revised policy.
